Hi, I'm Lucy
Psychotherapist, Yoga Teacher, Reiki Master Ramsbottom, Lancashire Book a free consultationLucy Reynolds
Trauma-informed psychotherapy for women who feel on edge, caught in self-doubt, or unsure who they are anymore.
Helping you understand the deeper patterns shaping your experience, so you can feel steadier, more self-trusting, and more like yourself again.
Is this you?
You wake up with your mind already racing – replaying yesterday’s conversations or worrying about what could go wrong today
You rehearse conversations in your head, terrified of saying the wrong thing
Your body never really relaxes – jaw clenched, shoulders tense, stomach in knots
Even small decisions – what to wear, whether to answer a message – feel overwhelming
You’re exhausted from holding it all together on the outside while inside feels chaotic
These are just a few of the things that my clients identify with. If you find yourself nodding along to some of these things, let me tell you that you don’t have to carry this weight alone.
I’m Lucy Reynolds, a psychotherapist in Ramsbottom, and I want to offer you a space to slow down, understand what’s been shaping your experience, and begin relating to yourself differently.
Imagine
Creating a life where you...
are able to finally switch off your mind and feel some peace
trust yourself – your decisions, your instincts, your worth
feel safe in your own body again, not constantly on high alert
have relationships where you don’t feel like you’re “too much” or “not enough”
stop feeling defined by past experiences and start living in the present
recognise yourself again – the real you, not just the anxious version
There was a time when I kept everyone else happy but had no idea who I was anymore. Therapy helped me find my way back.
How does it work?
How therapy can help you thrive
Your sessions are designed for YOU. This is your space to explore, heal, and grow – without judgment or direction. Together, we’ll work on the areas that matter most to you:
Understanding the patterns behind your anxiety
Together we explore the relational and nervous-system patterns that keep you stuck in cycles of worry, self-criticism, and overthinking.
Working with the impact of past experiences
When trauma or early experiences shape how you see yourself and others, therapy can help you process what happened and loosen its hold on the present.
Reconnecting with your sense of self
Many women arrive feeling lost in roles, expectations, or people-pleasing. Therapy creates space to rediscover who you are beneath those patterns.
Developing a steadier relationship with yourself
Over time, clients often find they are less driven by self-doubt and more able to trust their own feelings, needs, and decisions.

What my clients say.
A big thank you for all your help in getting my head feeling normal again. I really didn’t realise what was going on in my mind. Thanks again, and good luck with everything.
I’ve never felt comfortable opening up until these sessions and therefore, made my experience with Lucy feel natural and has given me more confidence in my “own skin” as they say, which has improved my mindset over all. I’d never done it before but would definitely recommend if anyone is ever in need.
Lucy is a beautiful listener, I could tell she ‘felt’ every emotion with me. I really looked forward to all of my sessions as I felt we had a really good bond. I felt heard, understood & unjudged. I would highly recommend Lucy to anyone and I have already done so. I cannot thank her enough for getting me through a truly difficult time.
My time spent with you Lucy has given me the opportunity to reflect on painful experiences and let go of a lot of shame which I’ve been carrying for years.
